Dance Class Dress Code
Our dress code keeps dancers safe, confident and focused, and helps instructors see movement and alignment. The full dress code for every class lives in our dress code document, which we keep up to date.
General Requirements
- Dancers out of dress code may be asked to observe class for safety.
- Hair securely pulled away from the face and neck.
- Dance tights only (not standard pantyhose) when a class requires tights.
- Clean, well-fitted dancewear with appropriate undergarments.
- Shoes in good condition, with elastics securely sewn.
- Label all shoes and dancewear with your dancer's name.
Shoes are included
Shoes are included in your tuition for most classes and will be ordered at the start of the season. Backup or replacement shoes can be purchased separately.
Order dancewear from our Nimbly shop. Dancewear sizing often runs differently from street clothes, so check the size charts before you order.
Out of dress code?
Repeated dress code issues may mean observing class, changing into proper attire, or a quick meeting with Kiah and a parent.
