Dress Rehearsal & Recital Day Details
It’s almost showtime! We have two exciting performances lined up at the Roper Auditorium in Twin Falls. On this page, you’ll find everything you need to know for a smooth, safe, and fun dress rehearsal and recital day—arrival times, backstage guidelines, pickup procedures, and more. Please review carefully to make sure your dancer is prepared and performance ready!
Dress Rehearsal
The Dress Rehearsal is a time for all performers to showcase their hard work and dedication. Classes will rehearse during their regular class times at the studio the week of April 28th. We encourage dancers to come in their costumes and recommend doing a hair and makeup test run. This will help address any questions or provide suggestions for the performance day. It’s better to practice now than to experience unnecessary stress later!
Where to Go and When to Arrive
Performances will begin promptly at their designated times at the Roper Auditorium 1615 Filer Ave East, Twin Falls, ID 83301. Please drop your dancer off at the backstage door for check in, performance ready at their designated arrival time. Our Backstage Crew will assist students to their dressing room. Doors will shut 5 minutes after call time and not be reopened. Only water will be allowed in the dressing room so please make sure that your student has eaten something before the show. For your child’s safety, NO PARENTS ARE ALLOWED BACKSTAGE.
Costume Change Help & Dancer Safety
During the show we will have helpers available to help with costume changes, so please make sure all of your accessories and shoes are neat, orderly and labeled for them. All students will remain backstage during the entire performance. Students will not be allowed to leave until the end of the performance. This is for your student’s SAFETY! No student will be allowed to leave the theater at the end of the performance without an adult supervisor or parent/guardian.

Additional Info
To help avoid congestion backstage, we will accompany groups of dancers from the backstage area into the theater for pickup. For Safety, we will not allow other audience members backstage at any time during the performance. We ask that you please wait in the theater/lobby to greet your dancer.
As a professional courtesy, please remember to silence all cell phones and electronic devices. All aisles should remain clear; no one will be allowed to stand. Out of respect for other dancers, please do not enter or exit the Theatre while another group is performing on stage.
*NEW: We will be allowing video and non flash photography of the performance. Please be courteous of other audience members when doing so.
